Question 1:  Where is Campus located?
Answer:  Campus High School is located at the corner of 55th Street South and Meridian Avenue, just two miles north of the city of Haysville, Kansas, just to the south of Wichita.

To access Campus from I-235, simply take exit 3 and head south 2.5 miles on Meridian.

Question 2:  Is Campus an accredited high school?
Answer:  Yes.  Campus High School is accredited through both North Central Association Commission on Schools and the Kansas State Board of Education's Quality Performance Accreditation.

Question 3:  What are Campus' graduation requirements?
Answer:  Graduates of Campus High must earn at least 25 credits.  Of those 25 credits, four must be in English, three in Social Studies, three in Science, three in Mathematics, and one in Physical Educaiton.  The other eleven credits are elective credits to be taken from a wide selection of course offerings.

Question 4:  What type of schedule does Campus use?
Answer:  Campus High utilizes the block schedule.  Students enroll in four classes on odd days (blocks 1,3,5,7) and three classes on even days (2,6,8) with a seminar held for all students during fourth block.

Blocks are approximately 90 minutes in length with school beginning at 7:50 A.M. and dismissing at 2:55 P.M.

Question 5:  How big is Campus High?
Answer:  As of September 20, 2000, Campus consisted of 1,088 students.  Student learning is supported by 72 certified teachers, 10 paraprofessionals, nine custodial employees, 12 food service employees, six secretarial staff, one security officer, one school resource officer, four counselors, and four administrators.

Campus is classified by the KSHSAA as the largest 5A school in the state, making CHS the 33rd largest high school in Kansas.

Campus High is structured in a fashion similar to a small college with its eight classroom buildings encircling the cafeteria in the center of the courtyard.  Students can easily walk from one end of the campus to the other within 3 minutes.
